Design & Documentation
The Medifit design process has been developed to ensure that your individual needs and wants are factored in to every aspect of your new practice. Medifit's specialist interior design and project management staff will conduct a series of interviews, site visits and meetings to build a comprehensive picture of your vision for your practice before presenting a series of design concepts.
Medifit's design team liaises with Council to ensure the development application approvals are obtained and final documentation takes into account any conditions placed by Council.
Every Medifit project is meticulously documented throughout the entire design process, providing a comprehensive record and forming a solid basis for the next stage of the project: pricing and contract preparation.
Pricing & Contract Preparation
Once the design and documentation of your practice is complete, the project enters the pricing and contract preparation phase. The documentation provides all information required for accurate pricing to be calculated leading to a fixed price contract which is drawn up and signed by all parties. A building licence is then obtained for the project. On issue of this licence, purchase orders are forwarded to all trades and material suppliers inclusive of a comprehensive project programme schedule.

Effective co-ordination of practice construction requires significant expertise. Since 2002, Medifit have successfully completed more than 200 healthcare design and construction projects with the added value of continuity of the directors, staff and project managers throughout Australia.
